Returns

Unopened products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, less a $5 restocking fee. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

To be eligible for a return, products must be unused, unopened, and returned in their original packaging and condition.

Opened Products

Products that have been opened, used, sharpened, modified, or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them are not eligible for return unless we determine that the product has a manufacturing defect.

Defective Products

If you believe you have received a defective product, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs and a description of the issue.

Defects generally include significant manufacturing flaws that materially affect the function, durability, or safety of the product, such as substantial damage, severe corrosion, or other serious manufacturing defects. Minor cosmetic imperfections, normal manufacturing tolerances, and characteristics disclosed in a product's description are not considered defects.

All determinations regarding whether a product is defective are made by Kitchen Hardware in our sole discretion after reviewing the individual circumstances.

Jaya Mata Black Steel Products

Jaya Mata black steel knives are traditionally handmade products imported directly from Malaysia. As described on the individual product pages, these knives may exhibit variations in grind, geometry, finish, edge sharpness, scale fit, and other cosmetic or performance characteristics. These are normal characteristics of the product and reflect the handmade nature of the knives rather than manufacturing defects.

Because these products are handmade and imported in limited quantities, we are generally unable to accept returns based solely on these expected variations. Returns or replacements for Jaya Mata products will only be authorized in exceptional cases involving a substantial defect beyond normal handmade variation, as determined by Kitchen Hardware in our sole discretion.

Return Process

Please contact us before sending any item back so we can provide return instructions.

Customers are responsible for securely packaging returned merchandise. Products that arrive damaged due to inadequate packaging may be refused or may receive a reduced refund.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected.
